Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $40,000 – $60,000/year (depending on experience and hustle)
  • Plus: Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses
About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for a high-performing Director of Fitness to lead and level up our personal training department at Retro Fitness Cambridge. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to change lives, build a rockstar team, and close deals that actually make a difference.

You’ll need a closer’s mindset, a coach’s heart, and the kind of energy that makes people want to run through walls—or at least sprint through a HIIT session.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Sell Like a Pro: Drive personal training sales with new and existing members. (We love great form—but we really love a strong close.)
  • Lead the Charge: Set the pace for your team by consistently hitting your own goals—and teaching others how to do the same.
  • Build Your Dream Team: Hire, train, and develop a crew of passionate, certified personal trainers.
  • Watch the Numbers: Own your KPIs—sales, sessions, payroll, and budget tracking are all part of the game.
  • Make Fitness Fun (and Effective): Deliver a member experience that’s both results-driven and energizing.
What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in personal training sales
  • Previous management experience—or the kind of leadership potential you can’t ignore
  • Great with people, great with goals, great under pressure
  • You love fitness, accountability, and a little friendly competition
  • Local to Cambridge or able to commute without dread
