CAREER OVERVIEW:

Retro Fitness - Annapolis is seeking trainers to lead, instruct, and motivate. Our 60-minute class is a full-body workout designed around boxing.

BATTLE FIT QUALITIES:

· Customer-Service Skills. Battle Fit trainers have a unique and fun energy and they build and maintain relationships with clients on behalf of Battle Fit.

· Motivational Skills. To keep clients coming back, Battle Fit trainers must keep their clients engaged throughout the workout.

· Physical Fitness. Battle Fit trainers must be physically fit, as their job requires a considerable amount of exercise. Battle Fit instructors need to participate in classes and demonstrate exercises, as necessary.

· Problem-Solving Skills. Battle Fit trainers must provide regressions and progressions for clients with differing abilities.

· Communication Skills. Battle Fit trainers must be able to communicate and deliver exercise cues and movements to clients in an professional, clear, and motivating manner.

· Listening Skills. Battle Fit trainers must be able to "read the room.”

· Time Management. Battle Fit trainers must be proficient in delivering a multi-dimensional workout, while maintaining their attention on both the boxing and strength training areas concurrently.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Delivering the Battle Fit experience by executing pre-programmed and pre-designed Battle Fit Boxing workouts including combinations on the bag and strength circuits on the floor side.

· Connecting your energy and delivery with custom Battle Fit Music throughout the class.

· Monitoring client execution of exercises and correcting techniques to minimize injury and maximize results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Preferred: Group fitness.

· Preferred: Boxing experience

· Required: 6+ months group fitness experience or personal training experience

Retro Fitness of Annapolis, MD offers the following compensation:
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. ($25-$35 per hour)
